Three BHG’s ringed as pulli by EDRG at Upper Barden Reservoir have been found recently in the local area. The birds had not travelled very far from where they were ringed but BHG EL02436 was 14 years old. Sadly this bird was predated by a cat in Otley. BHGEW28524 was found dead in Skipton as was EG40866 found in Sutton in Craven and ringed in 2000. Further details of these two recoveries can be found on the following link, Black Headed Gull Project.
